TX-SBC TX-SBC Multifunction Portable Tea Brewer Lu Yu TeaMaster® Smart-Brew Cup The TeaMaster Smart-Brew Cup is so incredibly air-tight that, occasionally, water will remain in the canister after brewing. Be sure to turn your Smart-Brew Cup upright slowly to allow the air pressure to equalize.
Alternate Method: Turn upright. Then slowly loosen canister to equalize air pressure. Allow remaining water in canister to drain into cup. Set canister aside and enjoy your tea! Always use caution with hot liquids! Handle all components with care. Before first use, wash Smart-Brew components gently with small amount of mild dish detergent- Rinse thoroughly.
Brewing Instructions
Hot For best results use 1 tsp loose leaf tea. Water temperature should be 190 °F for green tea, white tea, and jasmine tea. Water temperature should be 210° for black tea, oolong tea, and Pu-Erh tea. Steep 3-5 minutes.
Cold For summertime enjoyment use 2 tsp high quality green tea or oolong with cold water. Place tea in canister. Invert Smart-Brew Cup. Steep 20-30 minutes. For Sun Tea, place in direct sunlight to steep. Turn cup upright and enjoy!
